Our last newsletter-exclusive prop took a bit of a nosedive, courtesy of Victor Wembanyama deciding Monday was a great day to prove us all wrong.
But hey, we're still batting a solid two out of three on these exclusives, and if you ask me, Iāll take that win percentage any day.
Now, for the juicy part: we have a newsletter VIP special on Wednesday that isnāt even posted to our site.
Letās run through it below!
LeBron James Over 34.5 Points + Assists (-115)
On the site, we took DeāAaron Fox over 38.5 PRA while anticipating a close game.
That could help boost King James too, and hereās the rundown of why we like this pick:
James has gone over in all three games vs. SAC this season.
Against the Kings last week, he had 31 points and 13 assists.
SAC ranks 25th in defensive efficiency to SFs.
Both teams rank top 10 in pace.
Where to bet: LeBron James over 34.5 points + assists | -115 at DraftKings Sportsbook
College Basketball Props: Wednesday, March 13
Let the madness begin! Our resident college basketball expert Justin Bales runs through his favorite pair of props on Wednesday.
From here to the grand finale of the tournament, he'll be dishing out his favorite prop picks.
Isaiah Stevens Over 5.5 Assists & Milos Uzan Over 3.5 Assists (+170)
Stevens is one of the best facilitators in the NCAA. Heās averaging 7.0 assists in 34.4 minutes per game this season. That number dips slightly to 6.8 in conference play. He does own an absurd 41.1% assist rate in conference play, though.Ā
Stevens gets an elite matchup against San Jose State today. Theyāve struggled, allowing 14.6 assists per game this season. That ranks 307th in the NCAA. San Jose State also allowed Stevens to record 11 assists in 32 minutes in their only matchup this season.Ā
The only major concern is that weāre in tournament season, which means Colorado State could play it safer with Stevensā minutes if this turns into a blowout. If that happens, Iād expect it to be because of the veteran point guard, though, and this is too low of a number.Ā
I donāt want to pay -145 odds on Stevens, so I added Uzan. Heās averaging 4.4 assists in 31.5 minutes per game this season. That number increases to 4.7 in conference play, though. Overall, his assist rate jumps from 25.3% on the season to 28.7% in conference play.Ā
Uzan gets a great matchup against TCU today. They rank 300th in the NCAA in assists allowed (14.5) per game. I love this spot for Uzan, and Iām using him to get this combo at plus odds.Ā
Where to Bet: Isaiah Stevens over 5.5 assists & Milos Uzan over 3.5 assists | +170 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Khalif Battle Over 21.5 Points (-105)
Battle has been unbelievably inconsistent at Arkansas this season. His role has been a revolving door, but heās the focal point of the offense at this point in the season. Through 30 games (11 starts), heās averaging 14.3 points in only 23.7 minutes per game.Ā
Battle owns a 27.1% shot rate with an absurd 68.8% free throw rate in conference play. He can score from anywhere on the field, but heās nearly automatic at the line. Heās seen double-digit free throw attempts in six consecutive games, and Iād expect that to be the case again tonight.Ā
Battleās solidified his minutes in recent games, playing 30+ minutes in seven consecutive games. Heās averaging 28.0 points per game in those contests. He also posted 29+ points in four of his last five games.Ā
Battle gets a great matchup against Vanderbilt today. The Commodores arenāt a good defense, and I donāt believe theyāre going to be able to stop the Arkansas guard in any aspect of this game.Ā
Iām taking a bet on talent to win out for this bet.Ā
